Pacific Avenue at Gough Street. Up until 1929 the Market Street Railway ran a cable car on Pacific from Devisadero to Polk and this was a remnant of the original line which continued down Polk St., crossed Market St. and ended up in the South of Market area. The mansion in the background was torn down and replaced with apartments in 1929 or 1930.
